CoralSafe is an AI chat product where usage funds coral reef restoration. This page explains, in plain language, what data we handle and why.
Your email address (for sign-in), your conversations with the assistant (stored so your chats sync across devices), your impact history (messages sent, reef area attributed, milestones), and standard product analytics (pages visited, features used).
Running the product: signing you in, streaming AI responses, syncing your chats and reef across devices, enforcing fair-use limits, calculating conservation attribution, and improving CoralSafe. We do not sell your data or use your conversations to train AI models.
Supabase (authentication and database), Groq (AI inference — your messages are sent to generate responses, per their zero-retention API policy), Vercel (hosting), Stripe (payments — we never see your card number), and PostHog (analytics). Each processes data only to provide their service.
Messages you send are forwarded to an open-source model host to generate replies. Don't include sensitive personal information (health, financial, government IDs) in chats.
Delete any conversation from the sidebar (removes it from our database). Sign out anytime. To delete your account and all associated data, email us and we'll complete it within 30 days.
Subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We store only your plan status and a Stripe customer reference — never card details.
We use only the cookies required to keep you signed in. No third-party advertising cookies.
If this policy changes materially, we'll note it here with a new effective date.
